How the placement loan works
The reference is for the calculation — not a salary cap.
The standard helper placement loan is calculated using a fixed S$500 reference for 3.5 months. The helper's actual agreed monthly salary may be higher without increasing the S$1,750 placement loan.

In a qualifying helper-fault case, the helper bears the full standard S$1,750 loan burden under the agreed loan terms and law, with repayments already made credited against that total. This does not authorise unlawful salary deductions or withholding.
The additional salary above S$500 remains part of the helper's normal agreed salary. It does not increase the standard S$1,750 placement loan.
Placement outcomes: who bears the cost?
Employer: S$750
After reasonable efforts by both sides, the employer contributes S$750 and MMHelpers absorbs S$1,000 toward the standard replacement deployment.
Replacement or refund
Qualifying quitting without a valid reason or serious misconduct established through review: choose a replacement without an additional deployment fee or a refund of the remaining unrecovered placement loan if no replacement is needed.
New deployment: S$1,750
Personal preference, moving abroad or no longer needing a helper does not qualify for a free replacement. A requested new deployment carries the full standard S$1,750. Original loan settlement follows the written case agreement.
MatchCare applies only to qualifying Candidate Matching placements during the five months from the original helper's arrival. Replacements do not restart coverage. Singapore-side expenses remain separate. Full details are in the Terms and MatchCare policy.

Separate employer / third-party costs
Government, insurance, security bond where applicable, Singapore medical, MOM-related or other third-party costs that legally belong to the employer may still apply separately.

MatchCare protects qualifying Candidate Matching placements.
MatchCare is separate from the standard pricing calculation. It provides the existing structured replacement policy for qualifying placements where MMHelpers supported the candidate match.
Direct Hire does not include MatchCare because the employer independently selected the helper.
