Employer usual payment
In many cases, the employer only needs to cover the flight ticket and MMHelpers service fee first. This is usually around SGD 355.
Usually includes
Flight ticket around SGD 285–300 plus MMHelpers direct-hire coordination service fee of SGD 55.
Helper loan arrangement
The remaining deployment expenses may be covered through the helper’s 3-month loan arrangement, usually around SGD 1,500.
How it works
The helper shares the deployment expenses through a loan during the first three months. We prepare a clear agreement for both employer and helper to understand before proceeding.
MMHelpers does not ask the employer to pay our service fee or deposit before the helper arrives at your home. We send an invoice after arrival for expenses paid first plus the SGD 55 direct-hire coordination service fee.
Before arrival
No upfront MMHelpers service fee or deposit from the employer before helper arrival.
After arrival
Invoice is sent after the helper arrives at your home.
Payment window
Employer settles the invoice within 1–2 business days via PayNow.
Not every case has the same cost. Some helpers are already outside Myanmar, or their situation may make the Myanmar-side departure process simpler.
Helper already in Thailand
Some Myanmar-side departure costs may be reduced if the helper is already staying in Thailand.
Returning from Oman
In some rare cases, a returning ex-Oman helper may not need the same Myanmar-side departure handling.
Case-by-case review
We review the helper’s current location and situation before confirming which expenses are actually needed.
MMHelpers is not a Singapore maid agency
We do not charge agency-style fees and do not provide agency-style full replacement guarantees. Our fee is a small direct-hire coordination service fee.
Employer handles Singapore-side requirements
Employer is responsible for Work Permit application, IPA, security bond, insurance, and related Singapore-side employer obligations.
Figures are planning estimates
Final cost depends on flight price, helper location, medical result, documents, travel readiness, and case-specific requirements.
Helper loan must be clearly agreed
If a 3-month helper loan is used, it should be explained clearly and agreed between employer and helper before proceeding.
